American Duality: North of the Wall (extended cut)

About the film

In 2012, filmmaker/journalist John Leo De Frank took a ride along the U.S./Mexico border to understand how immigration, drugs, border security and the politics of US Immigration impacts border dwellers and the undocumented that cross. Visiting two different locations in two different states along the US/Mexico border we see how the wall has impacted lives for US citizens that live along the border and the immigrants who risk crossing.

A shorter, 3-minute version of story was originally published in 2012 for Vocativ but was recently re-edited to tell the more dynamic full story as intended.
